Data Deletion Request
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Vizion Player has no sign-up of its own — you sign in with the login your TV provider gave you. Our service keeps some information under that login (your provider username), and for Samsung and LG TVs under the TV itself, to run sync, support, purchases, TV activation and notifications. Here is how to have it deleted.
How to request deletion
Use either option. Never send us your password.
- Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my data”. Include the app name (Vizion Player) and the username you use in the app. Adding your provider's server address helps us find the right records. For a Samsung or LG TV, also include the activation code shown on the TV. If you bought Pro, Remove Ads or an unlock in the App Store or Google Play, add the order number from your store receipt, so we can also find RevenueCat's record of it (see below).
- In the app on a phone, tablet, Apple TV, Mac, Android TV or Fire TV, open Settings → Support, choose Other and write “Delete my data” in your message. The request reaches us with your username.
Our service has no way to check your provider password, so a username, even in a request sent from the app, does not prove that the login is yours. Before we delete anything, we verify the request: we confirm it with the reseller or provider who sold you your subscription, or we ask for details that only the account holder would know, such as your profile names, the devices you use and titles you watched recently. We never ask for your password. We may refuse a request we cannot verify. We complete requests within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What we delete
- Your support conversations, including screenshots, and our support team's email alerts about them.
- Your synced data: what you watched (titles, posters and how far you got), favourites, My List and profiles, including profile names and profiles you had already removed.
- Your device records (the app's device ID, device model, system and app version, online status) and push-notification tokens.
- Records of app opens and of the in-app messages you saw, read or dismissed.
- Our records of your purchases (Pro, Remove Ads, TV and Mac unlocks) and of your provider subscription's expiry date — except anything the law requires us to keep.
- For a Samsung or LG TV: its registration (MAC address or LG device ID, model, firmware, activation code, trial and activation dates) — except the records of a paid activation, which we keep for tax (see below).
If you keep using the app afterwards, it will start saving new information under your username again (for example your watch progress and purchase status).
What we may keep
- What we must keep for legal reasons: records of paid orders, which we keep for tax; a record that you asked us to delete your data and that we did it; and anything we must keep to stop fraud or abuse.
- If you paid to activate a Samsung or LG TV: the order and the payment provider's confirmation (Stripe or PayPal), which can include your name, email address and country. We keep them for 10 years, for tax.
- A one-way code made from your provider's server address and username, which we keep only to stop an Android TV free trial from being restarted. It is not stored with your username or your name.
- Copies in our database backups, which we keep for 30 days: your deleted data disappears from our backups within 30 days.
What you can do in the app
- Delete a support request: it is hidden from your app straight away, and our service deletes it, with its messages and screenshots, 90 days after you delete it. Our support team's email alerts about it stay in our support mailbox for up to 24 months, unless you ask us to delete your data.
- Remove favourites and My List items: the removal reaches your other devices and our service, which erases them fully within 180 days.
- Remove a profile: it disappears from your devices, but our service keeps it (with its name), marked as removed, until you ask us to delete your data.
- Turn off notifications in your device settings: this stops notifications being shown, but it does not delete your push token from our service. Signing out of the app does, or ask us.
- Remove a connection (Settings): this deletes the saved login from that device.
- Uninstall the app: on Android this removes everything it stored on that device. On iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac, some items stay in the device's Keychain after you delete the app — your saved logins (unless you removed the connection first), the app's device ID and, on Apple TV and Mac, the free-trial start date. Uninstalling never deletes what our service holds; use the request above for that.
Information held by others
- Your TV provider holds your subscription and its own information about you. Ask your provider to delete it.
- Apple and Google keep your store purchase records under their own policies; you can see them in your Apple ID or Google Play account. RevenueCat keeps a record of the app's purchases under an anonymous ID, not under your username. When you ask us to delete your data, we also ask RevenueCat to delete its record of your purchases; to find it, we need the order number from your App Store or Google Play receipt.
- Stripe and PayPal keep their own records of payments for Samsung and LG TV activation, under their own policies.
- Google AdMob links its data to your device's advertising ID, not to your username. You can turn off tracking (iPhone and iPad) or reset or delete the advertising ID (Android) in your device settings.
- Crash reports in Firebase Crashlytics (Android phones and tablets) are not linked to your username and are kept by Google for a limited time.
- Apple TV free trial: the trial start date in your iCloud account and the two DeviceCheck flags Apple keeps for the device are held by Apple, not by us.
The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.
