What does OTT Builder actually provide?

We design, build and maintain white-label streaming player apps for streaming providers and resellers. You get your own apps under your brand; we handle the technology. We do not provide channels, content, playlists or subscriptions.

How do I get started?

Choose your apps, send us your brand assets (logo, colors and app name), and we build your apps for review. You can start from the Get Started page or order directly in our client area.

Do I need any technical skills or a dev team?

No. We do the engineering and builds and support your store submissions; you focus on sales and support.

How long until my apps are ready?

Accepted Answer

Your apps are ready for your review within 15 business days of payment and receipt of your brand assets. Store review then takes about 1–3 days for Apple and Google, and 1–4 weeks for Samsung and LG.

Can the apps be fully branded with my identity?

Yes. Your logo, colors, app name and splash screen appear throughout. Customers see your brand only.

What brand assets do you need from me?

Your logo (vector preferred), brand colors and app name. We send a short checklist after you order.

Yes. We provide store-ready builds, listing assets and submission support for the App Store, Google Play, Amazon, Samsung and LG.

Do smart-TV apps need extra hardware?

No. Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) apps run natively on the TV itself, so customers do not need a separate box.

Can I distribute apps outside the stores?

Apps are delivered for the official stores. On Android, direct distribution is also possible — we advise on the best approach for each platform.

Who owns the developer/store accounts?

You do. Apps publish under your own developer accounts with Apple, Google, Amazon, Samsung and LG, and we guide you through setting them up.

Do you supply channels or content?

No. We provide the player apps only. You connect your own licensed service — we never supply channels, content, playlists or subscriptions.

How do viewers sign in?

With the account and credentials they already have from your service. On TVs, they can also sign in by scanning a code with their phone.

Is there a TV guide and catch-up?

Yes. The apps include now/next and a complete TV guide, plus catch-up where your source supports it.

Yes. Live channels, movies and full series with seasons and episodes are all supported, with categories, artwork and search.

Are multiple audio tracks and subtitles supported?

Yes. Viewers can switch audio languages and enable subtitles during playback where the source provides them.

Each app is available as a one-time license or a yearly subscription — you choose per app at checkout in the client area.

What about refunds?

Each branded app is built to order. Once we've started work on your app — after payment and receipt of your brand assets — the fee is non-refundable. If we fail to deliver your app, you receive a full refund. Yearly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and simply won't renew; renewals already paid aren't refunded pro-rata.
