How to manage your OTTBuilder account, plans, invoices, and platform changes for your branded streaming player apps.

This article explains how billing and account management work at OTTBuilder, including plans, invoices, adding platforms, and what happens at renewal. OTTBuilder bills you for building and maintaining your branded player apps; we do not handle your end users' subscriptions to your streaming service.

What you are billed for

Your plan covers the work OTTBuilder does on your behalf:

  • Building your branded apps for the platforms you choose.
  • Maintaining those apps with updates as platforms change.
  • Publishing support and ongoing assistance.

OTTBuilder never bills, or collects payment from, your end users. How you charge your customers for access to your service is entirely your business. We bill you for the apps only.

Understanding your plan

Plans are typically structured around the platforms you ship and the maintenance you receive. Review current options on /pricing. Each platform you add (for example, Apple TV or Samsung TV) may affect your plan.

Invoices and payment

  • Invoices are issued according to your billing cycle.
  • Keep your billing contact and company details current so invoices are accurate.
  • If you need a VAT number or specific details on invoices, send them before the cycle so they appear correctly.

Add a dedicated billing email rather than a personal address. That way invoices reach your finance team even if staff change.

Adding or removing platforms

Your platform lineup can change as your business grows:

  1. Decide which platform you want to add or remove.
  2. Contact us through /contact to confirm the change and any plan impact.
  3. For new platforms, provide any brand assets or store accounts that platform needs (see the Brand Assets Checklist).
  4. We build and help publish the new platform.

Removing a platform may affect users who already downloaded that app. Plan removals carefully and communicate with your customers before retiring a platform.

Renewals

  • Plans renew on your billing cycle so your apps keep receiving maintenance and updates.
  • We will remind you ahead of renewal where applicable.
  • If maintenance lapses, your apps may eventually stop meeting store requirements, which can lead to removal from the stores.

Updating account details

To change account details, contact us with the update you need:

  • Company name or developer account changes.
  • Billing email or address updates.
  • Primary contact changes for project communication.

If your developer accounts change (for example, a new Apple or Google account), tell us early. Republishing under a new account is more involved than a routine update.
